In his address to the prize winners, as well as guests from the Ministry of Economy, Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Belgrade Chamber of Commerce, Mr Dejan Janjatovic, Member of the Executive Board of our Bank, pointed out that this year’s contest was specific in many aspects, as it was distinguished by markedly better and advanced methodology, a large number of promotional activities and partnerships established between our bank and numerous renowned institutions.
- Our intention was to choose those truly the best, which is why the contest encompassed over 300.000 entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises among which, after several selection rounds and engagement of members of our Expert Jury, we chose the most successful ten. These are enterprises and entrepreneurial shops that realized excellent business results in 2010 and in so doing contributed best to sustainability and development of the local economy. For that reason, it is our desire to present these enterprises to the public, and through their promotion encourage all other agricultural producers and entrepreneurs in our country to further thrive and prosper – said Mr Janjatovic.
Another specific feature of this year’s contest is also the fact that the majority of laureates are not our Bank’s clients, which came as a surprise to many prize winners.
According to Mr Sasa Pajkic, owner of the entrepreneurial shop “Eskom“ declared most successful in the category of entrepreneurs, ProBusiness Leader award is a significant recognition for all “Eskom“ employees, as well as a stimulus for all of them to strive to be even more successful in the coming period.
- The acknowledgement and decision made by the ProCredit Bank’s Expert Jury have honestly taken us by surprise, since we are not ProCredit Bank’s clients. That makes this award even more significant to us. We are glad there are institutions in Serbia that recognize real effort and are willing to provide support – explained Mr Pajkic.
Similarly, Mr Miodrag Radovanovic, owner of the famous winery “Podrum Radovanovic“ won the award “Leader in Energy Efficiency Improvement“. According to Mr Radovanovic, the cooperation established between “Podrum Radovanovic“ and ProCredit Bank and ProCredit Leasing is very successful, which is why this enterprise intends to continue further upgrade and modernization of the business in the future.

Announcement of ProBusiness Leader 2010 Winners
In continuation of its traditional business practice established five years ago, ProCredit Bank announced on Thursday, December 16, at the award ceremony organized in our Head Office, this year’s winners of ProBusiness Leader 2010 contest, i.e. the ten most successful entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized enterprises in Serbia.

It is up to us to be even more creative and successful in realization of ProBusiness Leader project in the coming years, i.e. to resume intensive promotion of the core values this project is based on.
