Verified by Visa is a program developed for safe shopping using ProCredit Bank VISA cards on the Internet, in accordance with the 3-D Secure global standard.
When making a purchase the cardholder confirms his/her identity to the Bank using a personal password or IPIN, which is similar to the use of a PIN at the ATM. Entry and control of the IPIN / password is done between the Bank and the cardholder, and the Internet store has no access to exchanged information.
That means that the cardholder is the only person that can use the card in the Internet store supporting payment by the Verified by Visa service.
How does the Verified by Visa program work?
Verified by Visa service is offered only in Internet stores that participate in the Verified by Visa program. Shopping is identical as with the ordinary Internet retailers, with the only difference that the Verified by Visa merchants conduct user authentication when confirming the purchase. For further information please see HERE.
How do you apply for the Verified by VISA service?
You can apply for the Verified by VISA service at any of the ATMs of ProCredit Bank.
The list of ATM locations can be found HERE.
Upon completion of the transaction “defining the Internet PIN number”, the user individually creates his/her Internet PIN, which means automatic application for the service.
iPIN is a 6-digit number that allows authorization of Internet transactions.
How to create your password?
With the help of the IPIN the user is able to create a personal password (link for personal password).
The user who has defined a password for online payment transactions can no longer use the iPIN for payments.
What to do if you forget the password defined or enter the wrong password?
In case you have forgotten your password or blocked the card in the Verified by Visa program due to three consecutive incorrect password entries, please call the ProCredit Bank Info Centre on +381 11 000 2057 to enable you to set a new password by means of your iPIN (link for personal password).
What to do if you lose your iPIN?
If you lose your iPIN, you should go to the nearest ATM of ProCredit Bank in order to generate a new iPIN by means of your PIN.
